As an Elliott Smith fan, it’s always been amazing to hear just how strong a connection people have had with his music. For some it may have been that he helped them through a particularly tough time, for others he’s been there for them almost every day.

It seemed strange that this guy, who most of us were never lucky enough to meet, has given so much but hasn’t really had anything in return. So, this show was created almost in tribute to him - to keep his legacy alive (in our own admittedly small way), and to ensure that new people are able to discover his music and connect to it in the way we all have.

In the podcast, we speak to well known fans of Elliott Smith about their favourite song of his. As well as discussing their pick for their favourite track, we also chat about Elliott Smith related anecdotes, how they first heard his music and the impact it’s had on their life.

My Favourite Elliott Smith Song was created by Rob Comba in 2017. In 2018, Elizabeth Withstandley teamed up with Rob after hearing the podcast for the first time.
